For many years, the SportsRunner system has been a leading tool to assist sports administrators manage the demanding task of running team sport events.  It continues to actively expand and evolve, in accordance with advances in technology, and the needs of sports organisations.

The SportsRunner development team is led by Steve Schapel, Executive Director of Data Management Solutions Limited, based in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Since 1994, Steve has been building customised database software in many industries.  He is a multiple recipient of the Microsoft MVP (Most Valuable Professional) award.

He has been working with sports administrators since 1997, across many sports codes.  He has developed a solid understanding of the needs, and an acknowledged expertise in automating the management of sports draws and results.
